Today i pulled every body panel i could. And finished removing things from my dash. And the third brake light. Anyone know how to remove the oil pan? Or backseat

Got the passenger side bucket seat in, so now they are both in. Removed the door lock knobs and painted them black. Started cleaning the Versailles center console so I can test fit it and decide if I like it or not.

The oil pan just has all the bolts the way around it.. Undo them and pop it off, done. The backseat you will remove the bottom portion first by pushing I towards the back of the car and pulling up on the front off it which will get it over the hook thing, once the bottoms out the top has 2 screw? Or bolts can't remember. which are at the bottom that you couldn't access while the lower part of the seat was in place, take those out and it'll be sitting on similar hooks as they use to hold the bottom on, push it up (if I remember correctly) an it should be off...onto he next project

Edit; what I did today was went out of town to buy some new 26x8.5x15r slicks.. Should fit in the wheel wells no issues and no thoughts of rubbing! And no rock chips! Then I went to Fill my tranny with royal purple.... Forgot my driveshaft wasn't in... Was a nice cleanup and waste of money.

    Floor pans

It was yesterday, but, I crawled under the car and welded up all the sheet metal from the bottom. Now just to clean them up and paint.

After reading about the sheet metal fire wall, I decided to make my own. I'll get some pictures up if it turns out good.

Ok, so this is where I started. It doesn't look like much yet. My plan was to put in a center support, then cut some sheet metal to fit the remaining opening, maybe use a bead roller to stiffen them up, and weld them in.

brought my comet gt home yesterday and installed dinomat on the floors getting ready to lay down carpet tomorrow. bought a second box of dinomat to add some more in other places like the roof and doors and trunk area. got a decent deal on the big box at a local stereo shop I paid $265 for a box on ebay like 2 years ago and today I paid $180 for the same box I also paid for new lifters for the gt so I can install the cam from my old motor out of my black car
