I caught a big big big fish yesterday. I had my camera but umm, forgot camera at home.
All i did yesterday was installed brake shoes on rear and paint drum.
Fedex came buy with 4 shocks and lower control arm.
It'll be a productive weekend if i get rear shocks installed before 1830.
It’s a 74 four door LDO maverick. It was pouring rain and No chance to get pictures, I will be grabbing it in a week though and you will get plenty then
"It was pouring rain"
Thats a good one too!
I got he hard lines done for the new fuel injection system tightened up and got the correct straps on for the bigger gas tank.
Got the pipe plugs for the vacuum holes from the ole local hardware store.
Went and picked up this today... future project
I been working the last 3 weeks so I havent had much time to work on the girl. Since the dash is out, I guess I'm gonna practice on honing my painting skill. Gonna go to the library or amazon and see if there is a body work for dummies book. I'm at the point with the car that if I'm gonna get it done, now is the time.
Also, any suggestions on a product to bond my heater box back together?
Fiberglass works well if you prep the surface right.
Went over to my buddies where my car is at and he surprised me. He put in my new 71 dash, put in my 69.5 key assembly and installed a floor shifter for me! I have been busy with school and he wanted to surprise me. I was utterly shocked when I saw it! I also put on my new seat covers from Richard Jones, absolutely fantastic quality if anyone needs a set. He does good work.
Can I please get your buddies address?
I would like to leave my Comet & a truck load of parts over there for awhile.
William623, how do you get in-touch with Richard Jones?
