    I finished tearing down and almost done cleaning my 88 5.0 H.O short block and most likely putting in a order at LMR.com for some parts tomorrow. Gotta stay busy while in this quarantine mess :huh: 20200403_150226.jpg 20200404_192530.jpg

    Took the rear bumper off my 75. Anyone have any tips on how to remove the bolt holding the support in the shackle with out removing the shackle?

    Did you pull the rubber plugs inside the trunk and look in there?

    Did the drum to disk upgrade.
    Woulda thought ford would have made those fitting same between manual and disk master cylinders!!! Sure nough they changed size. :coco:

    So playing the find the adapter game!

    A double flaring tool works wonders for different sizes fittings, I have become pretty good at using one after doing 4 wheel disc brakes on my Falcon and changing the power steering pressure hose on my Stallion (just try getting the correct one from pictures and description) bought 4 and none were right so changed fitting

    Replaced the piece on the column that key switch goes in on a 72 Maverick that was damaged by attempted car thief with one from a 75 Maverick, had to drill out lock because of no key not terribly bad to do purchased new lock and door locks Took 72 Maverick to painter/body man to get damage that attempted car thief did to door lock, matching paint is the hardest part

    I do have flare tool. I did about 6 practice flares and all but 1 were fails. Used it years ago with better luck somehow.
    So me need lots-a-practize.
    I ordered what i thought were correct sized adapters after big fail an they were failures too.:1st: yeah me a winner again!

    I was working at getting 2 lines out of proportioning valve only to find out I Needed a 7/16 flaring tool. DAMMit FORD!! Three sized flaring tool between master and prop valve!!! Lots of weed smoking engineers with sick sense of humor too.
