I assume I have a 3 core. Champion CC339 series -- 2 3/4 " thick core -- Wondering if you a different series? I wound up fabbing a shroud. I couldn't get the fan centered over WP the pulley w/o shroud.

I finally buttoned up my seats, color sanded and polished the doors and fenders. Starting on the rest of the body as soon as the cold snap ends.

Took mine out for a ride yesterday, just to keep things moving. Car ran great once it is warmed up, but fast idle refuses to work, and now that its warming up, less of a concern.

Over the last 3 days, I dropped my c4 valve body and put in a transgo SK C5 shift kit, installed a H servo, new shift shaft seals, and a green stripe push in modulator. It was my first time with a valve body, and putting it back in was exhausting. That thing felt like it weighed 50 pounds on the final try. I learned this....kickdown and shift cable MUST be disconnected, kickdown lever MUST be in exactly the right spot, and the shift valve is actually visible when the detent spring is off. Thankfully, I got it all right BEFORE pan installation. Road test today went well I think....all shifts are quick and firm when manual shift or accelerate hard in D. 2-3 shift in part throttle seems slow but doesnt slip? Doesnt leak. I think I am ready for that junkyard motor now.

Finished Digitails install. Blacked out taillight panel, new gaskets for taillight lenses, and all wired up. Need to put quarter panel extensions and bumper back on.

Took out the radiator and carb so I can get ready to pull the engine over the weekend. Transmission bolts and engine mounts to be removed soon.
