Yes. Need to change spark plugs and I have a suspicion that one of the head gaskets are damaged. Plus, I would like to clean it up a little.

Installed NEW electric motors in the Power Windows and they really " Zip" now .. they were slower to operate than
I liked so we souped them up with NEW motors and it made all the difference. We set it up where the stock window
crank handle is the " Switch" .. Looks stock but is much improved . I'm doing my Daughters 72 Maverick next f0r her Christmas Present ( belated ) . Not a big deal if anyone is interested .

The Write-Up was pretty much covered by the other Mr.Pittman when you click on his address he'll explain step by step . The only difference is , I didn't use the console or separate switches. I ordered some switches from CA and then modified them to fit in my doors and connected them to the actual window cranks . Looks stock but worked out really well . We've done Three Cars so far and my Daughters 72 Maverick is next . I'll take pictures then and put them on my CAMEO website for all to see. I like the stock looking appearance and they work as well as a switch in the console or other location. I think it's more convenient and it doesn't clutter up anything . It always is a hit when I demonstrate them at a car show . Worth all the effort !

I can't believe it but I'm finally attempting to install my new heater core. I've been running around with a by-passed heater core all this time. I had the heater core pressure tested a long time ago and I now have some time to put it in. I'm using Frank's instructions he wrote and posted to forum. I've removed the glove box (on my '73) and the front trim and now I'm at " Remove plastic floor vent from blower/motor assembly." I felt underneath the assembly and there seems to be two round push pins or something like that joining the two assemblies. I slid my iphone underneath the floor vent assembly and took a snap, selfie-style. The photo is looking upward. If anyone or Frank himself can give me some direction here, I would appreciate it. So how to you get the plastic floor vent removed? Thanks. Greg (aka Maverick Dude). PS. I also posted in the Technical section.

Worked on wiring for the 5.0l. Have to re-pin the ECM since I'm using a slightly different computer from the standard Painless recommended one (using a '94-95 W4HO vs the '91-93 A9P). Got the battery relocated to the trunk. Waiting for a new ignition switch to come in the mail. The old one was having issues and that led to a lot of trouble shooting until I figured out that is what was causing my solenoid trigger and key-on wires to constantly change.

I had to mod my old fuel pump hanger to install my new fuel pump.
I disassembled the old pump and put the new one inside it.

The heater box was in good shape so I left it bolted to the firewall and removed the clips the pulled the front off. It all went well and I removed the heater core. It was corroded along the passenger side and bottom. I removed the metal flapper from inside the box and cleaned it up. The foam seals were all deteriorated. I have a seal kit from Melvin’s Ford Parts.
