I took Patches down to Harold's shop and weighted it. he has a set of dirt track scales he used back in the day.
gross # 3,112... front 1,705...rear 1407. now maybe I can get me a set of coilovers that are closer to the right spring weight.

55 front 45 rear; not bad weight distribution! :thumbs2:

Frank if you move the driver's seat into back, you could have perfect 50/50 weight distribution.

I stared at them both out in the cold, longingly through the window.

took the breather off for Ts&gs...I think my K&N breather with their filtered top is restricting flow. I'll play with it a little more tomorrow and see if I can find out why.

I spent over an hour looking for the comets gas cap key. Only to discover it's broken inside and won't unlock and had to be drilled out anyways.

Got the proper gas cap on there just before the snow started falling. IMG_20201228_120757.jpg

What wheel is on your car? I like it. I too have white face gauges.

I've seen them only in pics before. Were white guages an option? Or It is it a take em apart and repaint hack?

The different color gauge options can be acquired @ 1971-1973 Ford Maverick White Face Gauges - Whitegauges.net
I did mine about 9 years ago. They have many color options. You have to apply them over the existing faces.

borrowed a cold air intake from a Jeep that Harold had down at his shop. installed it and saw no difference from running it with no breather. I'm going to run it a few days and make sure it works and then will order me a new one.

Traded for a 70 grabber today! A bit rough but actually a very solid car. Most likely going to save this one. Hit a bit of road debris and blew two tires on the way up and only had one spare. Had to make do  93DB165C-E3B3-491F-82C0-35499A6F45B0.jpeg BADF419E-4131-4051-B695-D26EC048FC8E.jpeg A195389C-51DA-4F12-BE4C-298F84617F4A.jpeg 0B3AABEF-3496-4EA6-B360-5D4493A1D068.jpeg 6245C0E3-BA39-4614-994A-2112A2C4382B.jpeg

I have sooo many questions about these pics. Let's start with the left side of the trailer, or lack of. And did we power slide with the trailer into this epic fail of a parking job?

Lol, jk. nice looking shell though, good find.
