My best guess as to an OEM part that is rare on these cars would be...

    A set of FACTORY KEYS!!!

All the ones I have seen were aftermarket ones that didn't have the Ford Logo on them.

have the key and lock housing from a 72 E100 van same as the 69.5 maverick

has the oval ford symbol on one side and on the other side it says family of fine cars

had the same one from my 72 mav but when i wrecked it the key got jammed and wouldn't come out so i broke it off and kept the end on my key ring:cool:

On my parts maverick it has 2 lights, 1 each side that runs on each side of the rear window. From the roof to the rear deck. I have not seen this on any other maverick.

But is it Original Equipment? Seriously doubt it.

I'm with Razor, no way those are factory, but post some pics. I'd like to see what they look like. :)

I don't think they were still using them in the 70's. I've seen them on 69 Mustangs, and 7 Liter Galaxies, but I could be wrong.

I got the original keys that came with my '60 Falcon and the Fords keys that came with my Maverick. I wouldn't have though this being rare.
