My 72 came with original keys. The trunk key is worn smooth and bronze. Can barely make out the ford emblem. They work perfect still and I love how old they look so I use them. I have a spare set but they stay at home hung up.

i believe in the later years around 75 they were put on the deck lid, i think ive seen one picture of them on a hood before, and the ford emblem was on the inner door sill skid plate thingy

I have two glove box doors for the early Maverick with the tray. One door is for ac car, the other is non ac. Does anybody else have either of these?

I have one, as well as the sales brochure for it. Neither item is factory....this is an aftermarket item for those that don't already know.

Awww, come on!!! I thought everything JC Whitney sold was factory! :)

Well, at least they are specific to our cars...and very rare just like the rear louvers.

I have a 4dr halo top mav'74 parts car.The tail panel has a layer of vinyl with one chrome trim oval that wraps the tail lights. At the lock assy. it is notched. It seems to me, I've seen them on mustangs before, but I've always been a truck guy & never really paid attention to cars. Looked in the gallery last month, did not see any.Trying to post pics, but they need downsizing I guess. Haven't seen them for sale either.Hmmm. Anyone else have this?

I have had it on several cars. Not all that rare. All LDO's car had it.
