A trailblazer SS pan would be the best chance

The only pan that would fit my swap (RCM front clip) was the deep truck pan. Even then the motor sets a bit higher than I'd like and the pan hangs 2" below the crossmember, but I'm not too concerned about it (for now). Since I did my swap, a few other pans have come out that might work...

a sith lord entered my shop the other touting the superiority of joining the dark side.

basicly i can get a 5.3 lq9 motor from a salvage yard for $400.00. i can get a scater shield bell housing for it that will work with my t5. i can get my mastpower trubo that was given to me rebuild and balanced for $175.00. add all this up and i should be in the 600hp range.
i can sell my jedi motor for more than it will cost to do all this.
im already doing a hybrid maverick, comet, why not mix one more in to it all.

my t5 has the gforce gear sets and several other strength upgrades. it will be near its limits but with that power there's no need to power shift which is what brakes trannys most of the time.
as for going to an auto, i just dont like autos in my street rods.

I have the 5.3 truck ls. In my comet build. What we went with was a aftermarket oil pan, the cut it to pieces and made it a front sump with the oil pick up and re welded it all back up. It looks great. You also need to do a little chopping on the shock towers. The motor actually fis in between them, but the exhaust does not. I also just went with the 4l60 that came with the truck.

Ill have some pictures of my build up at the end of this month or next.

I notched my truck pan to more of a 90*.
then shortened the sump making it a 5 qt.
