I will be scrapping several 4door cars soon.Other than the obvious parts that will fit 2 door cars I plan to cut the front ( half windsheild threw mid front floor) out of rust free cars.Any other peices should I cut out?? Lower quarters, tail light panels, roof, ect???

I just know that everything from the windshield forward are common with 2 door cars - I have 4 door front fenders on my 70 :)

I have maybe 8 or 9 sets of doors for the 4 dr cars.there are 6 or seven grabber hoods some where,I think. One day I need to get it all together and see exactly what I do have.I've been hoarding stuff for so long I have lost track of what i have.

keep all of the power steering set ups. all bucket seats dash boards all lights good wiring harness's speedo cluster window winders I would think that all of the window regulators and such in the doors are the same as two doors except the size of the track that actually holds the glass? craig will know or you might even know after having 38 cars YOU should know or be able to go check. chrome trim amy v8's you would want to hang onto atleast to sell for a few hundred bucks on craigslist. its better than $20-$30 the engine might bring for scrap
harmonic balancers from 250 I6 can be sold to classic inlines for I think $50 each and I would keep the carbs off the old I6 cars too since theyre so universal for YEARS back

the drum brakes fit (if theyre the same as trucks) like 48-75 if I remember right. I had a 48 ford truck that brakes were giving me trouble on and I remember going through it finding shoes without spending a fortune at vintage ford
but who actually wants drum brake parts these days?
keep all of the front suspension from spindle to spindle and I would say let th rest go depending on how long you want to set on the parts.

I mean you managed to come up with 38 cars some how I dont think that parts for those cars are in high demand in your area cause you prolly own every maverick / comet within 100 miles of your place lol

I'd be interested in a pass side 1/4 patch if you have one. It'd be just the bottom corner where most of them rust.

5 bolt Mav rear axles are always popular with street rod guys. They like the narrow width and many of them are fine with an open axle with highway gears.

I pulled a 79 4dr out and was get pieces out when I pulled up the back seat and (OH CR^#&@#P).A cotten mouth was curled up under the seat.Needless to say it wasn't happy to see me.I got a piece of pipe and proceeded to reshape the floor pan, can you say (OVERKILL).This is the 3rd snake I have found in the cars so far.The other two were king snakes so I picked them out and put them up by the barn to hunt the bad ones.I will get the stickers off what is good.

Thanks maverickfever, the only decals still needed as far as the "Tire/Air Pressure" decals, are the following:
    75 Maverick
    76 Maverick
    74 Comet

If you have any of those, and are willing to remove them, let me know.
