what wheel and backspacing do I need to fit my 73 Comet

    Have a 73 Comet with stock 8" rear , want to put 275/60-15 tires on the rear, heard 15 x8 wheels are needed with 4.5 backspace and 1/4" wheel spacers , is this true , anyone done this and have some pictures, don't want to roll fender either

    Your wheel width is fine. Forget the spacer. 4.25 to 4.50 back spacing will work well. No rolling of fender necessary.

    Can you use this same size ...15 x 8 w/ 4.5 BS in the front or will it rub? Will a 15 x 10 fit in the rear??? what bs??? PS... same info ... 8 inch rear end...72 comet...

    You probably don't want a 10" rim on back.too wide
