I heard the same as Everett, that there was one manufacturer. I can say having used both front and rear from AutoKrafters there were no inherent problems.

Partially true, Dennis carpenter used to make the front windshield gasket to our cars in house and then precision made them as well. The DC seals are better quality and are closer to exact reproductions. Precision seals work but they do not fit as well as the DC ones. Unfortunately DC recently stopped production of their seals this year and now only precision is making the seals.

The precision gaskets are a hair too long and do not seal as well as the DC ones. But now only precision gaskets are being made so it doesn’t matter any more.

I found also the seals are made for stock glass. the repop glass is thinner and the seals don't seal as tight to the glass.
I've replaced four windshields with repops. I now have an extra one from a parts car that is stock and plan on using it if I ever need another one.
on the second glass I replaced I was straightening up one of the trim clips and the screwdriver point caught the edge of the glass and shot a crack half way across the glass...:yikes: when I called Hagerty back and told Her the new glass they just bought me was broken when the trim was being put on, She said it was for the installer to pay for it. I explained that I was putting the trim on when it cracked...She said the check was in the mail...:thumbs2: Love me some... Hagerty.

Thin replacement glass ... I was working selling tires to the area rental car companies and replacement glass came up as a conversation topic one day. The maintenance manager told me that replacement glass being made thinner than factory glass in late model cars is now a common thing. I have had a couple chips repaired in the factory glass on my daily driver. They offered a replacement if I wasn't happy with the repair. I would hold out as long as possible before replacing a windshield, I imagine the replacements being easier to break later.

once they gave me the option of aftermarket or factory replacement. this was after the glass they just put in looked like it had welding splatter all over the driver's side, you could even feel the spots.

I would have to find my notes but I think NAGS has a couple part numbers for the Maverick, one for the early glass which is thicker and one for the thinner, later glass.
