    Guys,
Since I have had an injection into my spine to help with the bad disks I have, I have become a captive audience so to speak. I have been told for the next few days just to either sit back in my recliner or lay down and not do much of anything at all by the doctors.

I have checked the section on here for Maverick / Comet sites and have visited the links in there, but I was wondering if there were any other sites you would recommend for me to visit to get ideas for my upcoming Comet GT build? I'm looking for more of a private homepage sort of thing that will document the build of the car rather than a magazine article or company page (but those are welcome too).

    :anyone:

    Bored stiff :banghead::bsod:

yeah. this site is actually about the best source of any information for our cars. i dont know of any other site that will hold this kind of info, tech article and/or pictures. and like Matt mentioned, always visit the project section! there's where all of the builds are taking place so you might be able to grab some ideas for the upcoming project :thumbs2:

oh, and look thru the galleries. lots of good pics there too ;)

Thanks for the reply, I've been enjoying those too! :yup:

I was just wondering if anyone on here has a personal site or knows of any good ones to visit. Sometimes message boards have bandwith limits for pictures but personal web pages aren't as limited and can be more detailed as far as the build goes.

I was just looking at that thread a couple of minutes ago actually. That is a sweet car! I'll be watching along to see how it comes out.(y)

Unfortunately I'm on a dial-up connection and Facebook takes forever to load. I'll check out Car Domain more too. I already found Mean Maverick's page on there actually.

    Thanks,
    -Scott H.

I've got to agree with you on this being the best site out there that I have found. I'm so impressed with it that I actually sent a paypal to Stefan to help out with the expenditures of hosting the site actually.

I bet you can guess what car I'm looking for the ideas on 'eh??? :D

Is your user name on there the same as here? I wouldn't mind seeing your page on there and it would help speed up the search.

    Scott,
here's the link to my project thread, http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=55285
everything is documented on my website as well, http://www.72comet.de/gt
only problem is that it's far from being finished ;)

all the best with your back, i suffered from the same problem years ago. it sucks not being able to move and that's some of the worst pain i ever had, even worse than toothache.
    hope you recover soon!

In all seriousness, everything and anything Maverick/Comet related is linked to this board in some kinda way. Keep surfing here and you'll find more information than you can possibly absorb. Use the search feature a lot. There are tons of old threads here that are just begging to be brought back to life!!!
    Oh, welcome aboard too! :Handshake
