It is back in my garage at home. Some outside pics but the sun was going down so they are not as good as I would have liked.

Absolutely beautiful! By far the sexiest, most clean, jaw dropping maverick I have ever seen. I cannot wait until I am at that point with my build.

You bring inspiration, and shed light that my car will someday be there. I cannot picture me ever being there, but you give me hope :)

Stunning.. I like the way the speaker enclosure came out.
For some reason the rear wheels look too far forward in the wheel well..
    No pics of the dash?

I took the advise of a few members and bought my leaf springs from a recommended vendor. They are obviously not right. Like I said before I will be changing the leaf springs out with a new tappered mono leaf springs from Calvert Racing. After comparing those with what is on the car right now it should lower it around 4 inches.

The front will obviously drop down some once I place the motor in it but that won't be till May.

    Looking good!

Don't forget that the back is going to come down a lot once you get the interior, glass, and fuel tank in the car as well.

A full tank of gas will be over 140lbs, plus you figure all the other stuff. I'd say another +350lbs total (including the full tank of gas) or so when completed. I think it's to early to tell. Get everything done, then see where she settles at.

Who was the recommended vendor? Here is where my new spring sit things. Only thing in the trunk is a spare tire, scissor jack and maybe half tank of gas.

ok.. let's start the betting at a buck. :bouncy:

Having the gas tank behind the axle will certainly help.. but I say there's no way that car is settling down enough after you add the rest of the weight back into the equation.

I do believe you are right. I think you wud have to add a lot more weight than what's been mentioned and still don't believe it would sit as desired. JMO

I don't think they are understanding that I am using a different set of springs.
