    Me too.....

    Thank you.....

It's not that hard to make the trim work..... The Grabber end caps have the reinforcement areas where the screws go, you just have to line the trim up and drill the holes for the studs and screws.....

    Thanks guys.....

Got things picked up a this morning and got all the under dash stuff down so I could get it all cleaned up and ready to go in..... I did get the outer casing for the Lokar throttle cable cut and in place, I will fit the inner cable once the throttle pedal is in place.....

Here is the throttle cable housing in place.....

Here is a couple pic's of the really clean heater box before I opened it to change the heater core and clean it up..... I will have to get a seal kit for it only because the foam has broken down on the inner heater door.....

When is the big motor going in? It just looks funny to see all the mods then see that little six in there. :D

I am going to get it running with the 6 again..... I still have some suspension stuff to get for the front, also need some pieces for the turbo kit fabrication..... It's been sitting long enough, so I will drive it with the 6 while I collet everything together to do the swap and front suspension.....

I tried the factory spoiler on my Comet. It just didn't look right. It had the chrome on it also. I still have the factory spoiler mounted on a trunk lid for an easy switch. Had it painted when car was painted...

I think the spoiler works great on a Comet. But I am partial. I am indeed jealous of Frank's trim work...

Thanks guys, I think having the whole tail light panel blacked out makes a huge difference in how the spoiler looks on a Comet..... Between the trim and the bumper is frames the blacked out panel nicely.....

Made some progress for a change today..... Got the firewall insulation cleaned up and installed..... Also cleaned up and installed the driver side cowl vent, firewall spacer for the brake pedal bracket, wiper motor/bracket assembly, wiper pivots/linkage and my custom heater hose fittings..... I did get the overhead switch panel installed too..... The driver side wiper pivot/linkage was a pita, when I was putting one of the screws the nut that was crimped into the cowl popped out and fell into the cowl area..... I had to fish it out of the cowl(lots of fun there), then get it cleaned up and back in place so I could tack weld it in..... After that I cleaned the area up inside and out, and got some brushable seam sealer around it in the inner cowl area..... Then I was finally able to get it bolted in place.....

Here is my modified bulkheads for the heater hoses.....

Here is the everything else installed in the firewall area.....

Have you tried to paint any of those yet..... They spray them or impregnate them with some kind of oil/lubricant..... They do not like to be painted.....
