What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

Thanks. I'm thinking I'll try some more bleeding/dripping later and maybe eliminate the spongy feel. I probably have alot out of adjustment, just happy to have all pads hit before brake pedal bottoms out! I need to get it moving now. (and....I'm sure I can turn that 15-20 minutes into a day)

 

Took some measurements in order to buy steel for making brackets to mount the shell on the rotisserie...

 

Got the quarter window seals and windows installed.

 

Finally, after over a year I got the shock tower braces fully sand blasted... For some reason there was a bunch of undercoating on them that needed cleaned before I could continue blasting them... Also yesterday before it got cold, I connected the electric choke and glued the button to windshield to hold rear view mirror...

You guys know the Sport Mirrors suck for visibility, right??

Got some new tires and wheels for the front on my car. They were given to me by a friend. Weld racing 15x4 aluminum wheels. Got a set of four wheels, but the 15 x10 rears had the wrong backspacing. Damm all of the bad luck, well at least I only have to purchase two wheels instead of four.....

 

So I'm supposed to move them from factory location??

Never mind Frank. I found it.

From the center of the rear hole to the back edge of the door is 32 and 3/4".

Finished moving the shock towers and got holes drilled for AJE front end.

 

how far did you move them?

Moved them 2 1/2 inches each side. Had to raise them also for things to fit together. Still have alot of finish work to do.

 

I'll eventaully do a build thread when I get further along. Did do a test fit tonight and it looks like plenty of room.
