Does anyone have experience with the Ford Performance dual plane intake? I need a carb, so I might as well get a 4 barrel...so I need an intake too. My 3 primary choices are below, but I just herd about the FP intake, and am starting to lean that way.

    Weiand Stealth
    RPM air gap
    Ford Performance Dual plain

I'm not running 10's...but like everybody else, I'm building it as I go.

    Thanks for your inputs guys,
    Northern

Any one of the three would be a good street intake. It is not until you get a real good set of heads and more aggressive cam timing that you would notice any performance difference between the three.

The stealth is an excellent choice for a stock engine.

I have the Weiand Stealth on my Comet. It's a good intake for street use, stock to slightly modified. It is a dual plane intake.

Both the Stealth and RPM air gap are a better intake than the ford performance! they will make power to about 6500
above that you would need a Victor JR!

Your two plain intake will pull good on the bottom and whined up quick but the power will fall off above 6500'togo above that you need a good open plenum intake like the Victor J R!
Edelbrock did a real good job on the Victor JR it pulls real well at lower RPM but will let the engine spin up past
    7000 RPM.

How do you think that Victor Jr would work under an EFI, like the Edelbrock E-street or Holley Terminator?

I'm not familiar with the Edelbrock E street but I have seen a Fast EZ EFI on a 347 with a victor JR that runs smooth as a kitten on the street and turns low 11 second times at the strip!
