I put a t-stat housing on mine that has a spot for a sensor, now I can use the intake for the fitech sensor.
Got the install finish . Runs much better than carb. need to drive it more so it can learn more and got smarter.
So in that mean street contest I won a fuel command center. Because I won that, I ordered the 1200 hp power adder kit. I had 10% off summit plus the rebate so that took about 300 bucks off total. Summit says the unit should be in stock monday. Hopefully. Also ordered a few odds and ends. Due to my lack of carb knowledge I expect to see fairly large gains with this conversion.
What are you doing for the vent line? I saw mixed things online about the vent line having liquid fuel come out, causing a pee trap and car does not restart. I've got an idea of using an oil catch can with a breather in engine bay. Minimize line needed so less of a chance of that issue happening.
The vent is more than just a vent, it's also a safety valve in case the float sticks in the command center. Otherwise your mechanical pump could dump a bunch of fuel on the ground. I'm running a 3/8" aluminum line back to the filler neck.
The only people I read about having venting issues were 2 guys with Chevelles. I think they were attaching the vent line to the fuel tank vent and messsing things up. My theory anyway.
Maybe. I may just tap my filler neck and run the line back. Just don't wanna get stranded that's all.
Just me I guess. 3 years ago I installed EDIS ignition, I still carry spare coils and EDIS module in the trunk. I also have no reservations about jumping in the car and driving half way across the US.
