I went down to the shop and unmasked it after the Nascar race was over..... It's looking really good..... It was dry to the touch but not completely dry yet.....

It is quite a bit darker then the firewall that was painted with the same paint a little over a year ago..... I think it will look fine once the rest of the paint dries and gets a little age on it, I think the firewall will also darken up a little if I clean it real well.....

Here you can see the difference in them.....

Today I put all the bulkhead fittings in the front of the car..... Then I made the stainless trans cooler hard lines that go in the outer fenderwell from the core support to the back of the tower on the driver side..... Next I made the stainless brake line that goes from the engine compartment bulkhead down to the union on the side of the front subframe..... Last thing I got the fuel feed and return braided hoses routed through the torque box to the bulkheads in the front of the driver side tower.....

Here's the trans cooler hard lines, you can also see what I got done on the fuel lines today(still need to get the retainers on and finish routing them to the rear)..........

Got a little more done today..... Modified some Billet Specialties hose separators so I can use them for hose retainers, put 2 on in the inner fender area using riv-nuts to hold them..... I put a couple vinyl lined clamps on the trans cooler hard lines..... I also put the motor mount bushings in the k-member and bolted it in the car..... Then I put the car up in the air a little higher so I can get the fuel lines attached to the underside next weekend.....

    Here is todays progress.....

And I got to see it in person yesterday! :thumbs2:

I really like the paint in the engine compartment. It has a little bit of texture to it.

Thanks, It was good to see you too!!!!! I texture the chassis coat partly because I like the look and it makes the paint much more durable..... I did the same on my last car, and if you dropped a wrench or something else it didn't chip the paint.....

I got the part I needed for the drivers side strut this week so I was able to get it installed this morning..... I got the steering wheel centered to the rack and pinion center..... I also got the firewall feed for the wiring installed, then mounted the line lock and started on the brake lines..... Hopefully I can get the front brake lines made and installed tomorrow.....

Here is the progress for today.....

is it just me, or doesn't the front brake hose look rather short?
