Is there a drop bracket that actually doesnt self destruct?

Gives me an excuse to buy the integral PS box from ABS brakes.

I had the same issue about 5 years ago where my support broke away from the chassis and I had a much heavier bracket than the bolt on , on ur car. Don't have to worry about that issue now.

Someone welded something very similar onto mine. Very heavy duty now.

are those bolt heads above and to the left of the visible portion of your bracket part of the deal? Your bracket has extra length, and seems it would prevent the ram tearing at it front-to-back. How much of it goes above the bottom of the frame to eliminate a tear side-to-side?

Old radiator sprung a pinhole leak, figured it was as good a reason as any to bite the bullet and get an aluminum radiator/shroud/electric fan combo. Which of course means upgrading the alt too. A little annoyed that Champion didn't actually drill any holes in the shroud for mounting fan to shroud or shroud to radiator, but that's solved easily enough. Got a new A/C selector switch to throw in as well, can't wait to get that in there.

Has anyone fabbed up a triple gauge pod that fits in the stock radio cutout? I think that might be the next item to check off the list.

Swapping out the top end of my older 302 for a set of 289 k-code heads. They have screw in studs, fresh springs and roller rockers. I might update the cam while it is torn down. Going to top off the Edlebrock intake with a street demon 625cfm. The transmission is a TCI street fighter C4. This combo is going into my 72 Sprint...

I had a similar combo but mine were heavily ported with bigger valves and angle milled. The engine ran very strong due to the added compression. 340'ish horses with only a medium sized 220° cam. If you are interested I have a new cam research custom solid cam that was made for my combo which I would sell you VERY cheap. Solid cam/lifter combo deal is a bit on the rowdy side with .510"/.520" lift 224/229 @.050" on a 109 LSA. Was going to use it on my newest combo but am just biting the bullet to go full roller. If you're not interested I'll eventually just put it in the FS section later on.

I have no experience with solid cams, are they ok with just a daily driver ? I do know that you have to stay on top of the valve adjustments.

Ordered the remainding AN fittings and hose to finish up my fuel system. Went aeroquip startlite and black aeroquip fittings in the engine compartment and the classic red/blue underneath.

Made a little bracket from 2 body washers to hold my bulkheads.

The startlite stuff is so easy to work with. No more chewed up fingers from the stainless crap.

I did a little more body work on the Comet today. Getting rid of the ugly aluminum belt line trim.
