so im going with stock height and suspension. i have the stiffer leafs on back but otherwise the suspension is stock rebuild up front in factory form using v8 springs. so the wheels on the back im going magnum 500s 15x8 with 4.25bs using a 275/60/15 tire. on the front i am going to magnum 500s 15x7 with NOT SURE bs. ill probably be using a 235/60/15 tire. what bs should i get for the front wheel? ive been told 3 1/2 to 4". whats your take?
on the rear I ran 275/60/15 tires on 15 X 8 X 4.50" BS. Futura GLS Super Sport front were 15 X 7 X 4.00 BS.
looks like mag 500 for the size i want is the following.... front is 15x7 - 4 1/4bs.....will this work and NOT rub?
EDIT: i found the answer from larry in another thread. so thanks guys. ill be getting 4.5 bs on rear and 4.25 on front. thats the best i can do with these magnums it seems. i was hoping to go a 1/4 less with each to be safe, but ill have to make it work somehow if i have issues.
Hello Maybe this can give you an idea, earlier in the year I bought a set of magnum 500s. The fronts were 215/60 on 15x7 and rears were 265/60 on 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing and 0 offset, the wheels themselves look good but I didn't really like how far they stuck in under the car, I eventually went with a set of new slotted mags with 4 inches of backspacing on the rear and am a lot happier with the wheels now
Hankook Ventus H101s, sorry there actually 265/50s https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Ventus+H101&partnum=65SRH101
wheels and tires ordered. got some mickey thompson sportsman st. 275/60/15 and 235/60/15. my measurements say they will fit. lets see when they get here.
on the 275s, if the section width is the same as the...Futura GLS Super Sport (10" SW)...they will work... on my Futura GLS Super Sport (10" SW) I had spring and wheel lip clearance... mickey thompson sportsman st. 275/60/15 (10.70")
So 15x7 4 1/4 back spacing on the front And 15x8 4 1/4 back spacing on the back Tire to run with this setup?
