Loaded the Mav up in Show Low and trailered it down the hill today. Took me a bit to figure out why it wasn't making any power when warmed up, it couldn't even pull itself up onto the trailer... turned out the choke wasn't opening, turned the electric choke adjustment wide open and it drove right on up. Will have to figure that out, but at least each thing I find on that old 200 makes it run a little better. Can't wait to get the 5.0L swap going. That will be in the spring when I take it back up. For now, it just has to run well enough to make the 2 mile drive to the meet
Ive got one of the fenders off the car now, to fix a hole. I also need to rebuild my steering control valve. Still should make it.
Those a.c. lines are difficult to remove. They keep bending. Might have to cut them off. They need to be replaced anyway
Hi Lee I replied to your email on the headers but it looks like it didn't go thru. Yes I still have the headers and can hold them for you if you still want them.
I couldn't remember if I sent you a message but thought about it every time I saw your ad. Quick question, do you think they will they fit past an AOD? It looks like you have a different tranny in your car. If they should fit past, then I'll take them. Haven't had as much time as I want to work on the car so might as well keep spending money on parts
I would think they would since they fit around a non tapered Lakewood Bellh ousing that was for a 94-95 tranny (longer bell housing than normal)
