I've been reading all the threads about removing door panels. But most seem to be for 73 and up. I have a silver plastic piece between the arm rest and the panel. Will that come off after I remove the arm rest and the door handle? Or will it need to be pried off as I have seen some reference to a "cup" behind the door handle.

    Thanks for the insight!

Cool. Thanks! Knowing that I feel more confident giving it a try now.

1/4" drive long 3/8" socket can be your friend for removing bolts that hold arm rests on, long flat blade screwdriver to get to clips that hold door panel on, be careful . Have to take little sticky emblem off of window crank to get to screw that holds crank on, if you are careful you can reuse it.
