it's the late model (77) maverick tank...Spectra F30). I had a 66 mustang sending unit, same as Maverick in it so it was a direct swap.

Are you telling that the Holley fuel pump fits in our Maverick on the bottom driver side? Do you have any pictures

yes it does. it looks and fits just like the stock sending unit, just has 4 wires coming out...2 for stock fuel gauge and 2 for E-fuel pump.
    I'll get a pic. tomorrow.

I flew out of Oakland Ca. to Viet Nam in the mid 60s.

How does it do at low fuel levels? Curious how their Hydramat actually works.

Is it facing the trunk? How is it doing with the fuel gauge? Also how are your filters mounted?

it's in the same place the stock maverick sending unit was...driver side of tank.
it comes with 3 different float arms, just put on the one for the size tank you have.
second filter is under the hood just before the fuel rails,

    Hi Frank:
You mentioned a 66 Mustang sending unit is same as our Mav/Comet units? So bolted up to our fuel tank OK? If that is the case, then I wonder if this would work?

I think that would work better, has 2 pin connector (like on Mav/Comet) on the FG178B, the one on eBay looks like it only has 1 pin connector.........and its cost less too!
