Anyone know if they're planning on re-popping the tail light lenses anytime soon?

Bought a Vintage Air mock up box and working on placement. I wanted to avoid hardware through the firewall, it's such a pain in the seat muscle to work with. With that in mind, I started out thinking I would build a second bracket to attach to the firewall. That consumed a few hours and I finally came up with these, weld them in place and done!

Good try but not going to work very well. If I continued on that path I'll need a toddler to install the top nuts or leave it so low the passenger will need to have tiny feet for any level of comfort! Time for a reset and try again on the next plan.

Decided to do a tune up on my maverick as it was running rough...that quickly spiraled out of control. Today the car got a new intake, new demon 1901 carburetor, new fuel lines, new oil, new spark plugs, new distributor, and new brakes.

Not running quite right just yet, acceleration isn’t as good as I would like, have to adjust it some more.

Spent a few hours working on the car...could not get the demon carburetor to run right. It would have a random backfire through the carb. Checked and recheck timing on the car, air fuel mixture, vacuum leaks, etc... spent hours troubleshooting, even called demon tech support.... eventually gave up and bought a rebuild kit for my edelbrock and now it runs great.

First time I have heard such. My own Street Demon was bolt-on and forget. You may have gotten a bad one.
