I looked and looked but didnt see anything. Is there a thread on here about putting the interior back together? Mine was removed many moons ago by the body shop. I got the interior all painted, carpet in, steering wheel fixed, sound mat. So now its time for side panels and kick plates So many questions. I was hoping there was a thread on it. Like does the carpet get trimmed around the side panels or do they go over it. Is there more then the 2 screws that are easy to see? What size / thread? If there isnt one, guess Ill make one as I go. Thanks.
Thats ok...I can't remember either...after I got up from the dinner table the third time, I told my wife, "When I get to the refrigerator, yell BUTTER!" p.s. two screws on kick panels, carpet under chrome....
OK, so door arm rest. I got a door panel, the plastic arm rest base and and arm rest. How does the base attach? I dont see any screw holes. Do I need those L shaped retainer clips with the bolt hole? What bolts go thru the arm rest and into the base? Thanks. Would be easier if I had been the one who gutted the car, but I am not so I didnt see how it came apart.
Regarding kick panels, the screw hole location moved a bit early years versus later. I forget exact details here but they are just sheet metal screws and drilling a new pilot hole is a simple fix. Armrest - yes- L shaped clips and a hex head screw. I should have a bag of that hardware here if you need them.
There is no way that screw is going into that welded bracket on the body. I have other two screws in, but not this one.
I have no idea. They were in the car when I got it. The front grill was wrong as well as the hood. So anything is possible. Once I put the upper deck in I can put a bolt and spring nut on it and slide it into the metal u grove on the metal side molding.
