What do you all think about getting together in May at the FFW?

I will be coming in from Austin and we can caravan to Baytown from the west.

Let me know if you all are interested.

The first week in May is always very busy for me (Offhore Technology Conference), Technical Papers, BBQ's, Crawfish Boils, other events).

I'll try to squeeze it in though. 'Hope to see you there.

I will try to make it, especially if I can have my car back on the road by then. That is fairly close to us (within an hour) and we have no excuse to miss out on it. Just have to check the wife's calendar...

Looks like we are getting a decent crowd...potentially. We need to come up with a meeting point and time.

Maverickkidd is thinking of bringing his '70 maverick to sell. PM him if you are interested and show up with some cash:thumbs2:

I guess we need to map out where everyone is located. Then we could possibly have several groups of caravaning Mavericks arrive in Baytown.

I figured we'd just assemble in the parking lot of the raceway, rather than paying to bring our cars in. (It's expensive enough to get yourself in to Fun Ford, let alone your car too)! lol What do you all think? If we get there early enough, we can meet everyone and talk cars for awhile and then go see some drag racing!

Also I am assuming everyone is thinking Saturday. It is really the bigger day of events, as I recall.

Don't think you have to have your Maverick driveable, either. Come on out and visit with us on foot anyway!!

I never even thought of towing it there. I only live 45 minutes from the track, but at this time, I still have no seats. I will probably have to come without the car. Maybe bring my wifes convertible mustang instead...still a ford:huh:
