I concur with my fine friends here on the price. Very reasonable. Be picky on the extra sealing of it.

be sure not to loose the ...little clips...at the bottom of the window opening when you remove the old glass. they are buried in the old sealant...:yup:

Much better to just but a set of new ones. They tend to get distorted or broken when you remove them. You might save half of them...then you find yourself scrounging for the rest. Just make sure you get the right ones. Some of them are a little longer. If you try using the short ones, you'll destroy your moldings trying to get them to clip back on.

Edit...sorry, this is actually for the back glass molding clips.

i know a couple that have a 64 fairlane that was scratched pretty bad. they said they used brasso and a lot of armwork. came out really good. i bought some but haven't tried it yet. that sounds like a great price to me also.:)

I'm a smoker, and have found one of the best things to clean glass with is a newspaper. It's firmer than a paper towel, but not too firm as to scratch the glass. I use original windex brand, the knock off discount store doesn't work nearly as good. I have to clean my windows daily in the truck, so I get a lot of practice!

Thanks again for all the replys guys, they are good advise.
Ray, you mentioned clips...I would like all new ones but seems the 73s are harder to locate for some reason.

    been a few days...

Did you get it done yet? I recently got my headliner done and bought new seals for the upholstery shop to install at the same time, but both windows have leaks. How did yours turn out? My glass is good, but buying the seals myself and paying for labor separately is almost as much as what you were quoted for the whole enchilada.
Anybody else know a good method for prepping the opening to ensure a good seal?

Do I need to have the rear window out to do the liner?
