Thanks for posting the picture of the black '71 to 72 Comet beside my car, i was feeling bad that his car (don't know his name) was not included in your original picture posting on this thread ,also i just bought a can of wax for my car so it will look better for the next show (rust and all).:evilsmile...NMCC

Just wanted to take the time to thank Ron and everyone who came for the great meet last Sunday. My "trailer queen" as seen in the pictures, has been a three year project to restore it to the race car it was back in the 70's. :naughty:It is obvious that the car has not been painted yet, it still needs some more body work and with a lot of luck it'll be on the track by late august. It has the following, for anyone who didn't get to see it : 4 speed vertical gate shifter, 9 inch ford rear end, 486 gears, 31 spline axles, full frame connectors, 10 point roll bars, Cal tracs, also nice inch slicks 28x9x15, right now it also has 289 ported and polished, balanced with boss 302 rods, 12 and 1/2 to one pistons, and nice healthy cam shaft.

We're hoping for mid 12s when we get it fully running and brakes haha.:thumbs2:
