I believe that was Laurel Mt., on the e-bay buy-it-now- they were supplied by the company that's no longer making Maverick springs. Called them yesterday. I was looking for another supplier and found this thread.

Alright guys I have an additional 12 springs coming for you and I've set it up to where you just enter promo code maverick on the site and it will deduct $40 from the total. Here is a link to the leaf springs http://www.generalspringkc.com/index.php?p=product&id=26&parent=105 so just add 2 to cart and then on the cart page you can enter the code and get a shipping quote which is typically around $30 - $40 for the pair and unless you are in Kansas then you will have no sales tax and the discount will show once you put in your billing / shipping information. Again the 6 springs will be here in roughly 3 weeks and the rest will be here in 5-6 weeks. The leaf springs come with the front eye bushing pressed in and you can either order the bushings or the shackle kits which come with the bushings. Once the 6 pairs are sold then the promo code will be removed until you decide on a group buy again. Thanks for letting me help you guys out.

Rando, looks like if we pick them up, we'll be paying tax on them.

We'll need to figure out the tax rate there and decide if it will be any cheaper than shipping them to OK?

    :clap:Thanks Joe

    Thanks, KansasJoe!

I just placed my order and it worked as advertised!

Now I've gotta pull the rear and get busy with the grinder, Rust Bullet and a little welding so I'm ready when they get here!

I might get to drive Sarge this year after all!

I went to the website and it says you don't ship to my zip code when I calculated the shipping. I'll probably just call you tomorrow. Thanks Joe! :tiphat:

I'm sure it's not over 10%, which would be $18. We can talk about it when I come down tomorrow. :yup:

    I need springs

I am looking for a set of springs. I paid for a set, that I bought on ebay, from Maverick Connection in WV. He refunded my money because he was "out of stock indefinitely" Yet his ad said 10 available, and the ad is still on ebay? I am on Long Island NY so I would need them shipped there. I am new to this forum. How do I go about getting some springs General Spring?

Hey Guys, Ive been on vacation so I've been out of the loop. I was going to order them from the Maverick Connection and I emailed him a question before Vaca. I just checked my emails this morning and I was informed that he is out indefinitely. Glad I spotted this post. I just ordered my pair of springs from general springs and it worked out nicely. The shipping came to $45.00 but with the discount it breaks down to only $5. I was starting to panic over where to get springs. So there is another set sold. Who else has ordered? Im wondering if the first six are sold yet? Anyway, gotta love this site! Bob

I ordered Friday and decided to just pay shipping rather than ask my friend in K.C. to haul springs in his Focus. :biglaugh: The difference between the sales tax and shipping was only $10-$15 AND I'll get them here faster. But, there is a chance I'll get up that way sometime before the end of the year. If I do, I'll call. (y)

The best way is to probably call him or contact him through his website, www.generalspringkc.com. I don't know how many he has left on this bulk order.

I went ahead and ordered a set, I hope I didn't get somebody else's since I came in late to thread. Let me know if I messed somebody up.

Wasn't JC Whitney selling them cheaper than $180.00?
