    I like that Blugene.
Are you reinstalling the factory gauge pod or fab up something better looking?

I have seen alot of them in the dash and I have decided it's not for me. My decision is mostly cause I don't want to mess up the dash and not like it when i'm done. I also want to see how my pods will turn out...

Factory. I will be working on that later today.

Also, I had my equalizer in that ac vent forever and I kinda like this dash that looks clean.

My dash has no vent hole yet I have A/C...I think it just hit me that you are using an older dashboard. Looks cool.

Car is a 73 and i'm using a 72 dash. I did also have a glove box and will now have a tray. I have two trays actualy. One will be used to see how the guages might fit. If I have to cut it I will.
:hmmm: I can't seem to locate my replacement headlight switch

My Comet is a 73 and came with the shelf dash. I like it better than the glovebox version although I still complain about not having anywhere to put my paperwork. I don't smoke so I use the ashtray.

So now I discovered that the wiper switch that I bought for my 73 won't fit the dash . I wonder what else I will run into :hmmm:
I don't know how a tray attatches so if someone could provide a pic or two, I would aprecieate it.
I will also be offering my old dash pads soon. I'll redo them with something first. Anything is better than nothing sometimes :)

Here is the Fasten Safety Belt light in a 72 with A/C. Mine is the same, I do have the center vent unlike what I said earlier.
I want to replace the center vents with a gauge pod.

The small bracket on the left is for a package tray...the larger is for lower dash.

I knew there had to be two different sizes.. are you sure the larger ones aren't for the tray? I tried setting a lower dash in place with the brackets I have, and there was a gap between the upper and lower dash.

Longer the bracket the bigger the gap. The short bracket has the place for sheetmetal screws...the long one has bolt holes

I have those. I am not sure how it all goes together. Is it that the tray goes in after the dash is in place?
    Some more pics, from today.

Do you happen to have a pic of a corner/end in the car?
