Here is how you do it: (2) small screwdrivers....one on each long side of the trim, right in the center. Pry gently at the same time on both screwdrivers.

Cover the dash with some heavy masking paper before you install the windshield.
Wouldnt want you to scratch that fine finish you put on it.

Gene; if you can find a couple more of the plastic clips, you can drill a small hole in the B pillar and put them up there, to hide and hold the headliner. Mine came down in that place, and the clips will hold it better.

The same ones? Looks like I might have to look for an alternative. There is already a hole so...

    Headliner Advice

Just did the headliner in my 74.

Put the metal rods in first (angled up, they don't rotate, go ahead and ask how I know)

Use a LITTLE adhesive on the outer lip of the rear window. Center the headliner from side to side. Then stretch a little in the center of the rear window and use some spring loaded clothes pins to hold the headiner in place. Takes about 30 clothes pins.

Wrap back of C pillar into rear window lip and repeat (5 clothes pins per side)

Next do the rear vent windows. Don't fold over too much material or it will show past the window seal (again, go ahead and ask how I know) about 10 clothes pins per side

Just fold the material over at the top of the B pillar on itself. The seal from the quarter window and the door seal will hold it in place. I didn't use adhesive in this area.

Repeat for the front windshield opening. 30 clothespins

At this point it should be tight, stretch into the doors, repeat the adhesive and clothes pins

I let mine set up overnight. Then installed rear window, quarter window seals, windshield, door seals last.

They are right, had a hard time finding the hole for the dome light DOH.

The hairdryer didn't do much for me and I had two wrinkles that have me SOOOO

    Good luck
    Sean

    Good luck
