Don't forget to remove the sharp edges on those eye-brows. Take some time with 120 grit sandpaper and round them off to help prevent detonation.
Never heard of sharp edges in the combustion chamber causing detonation? Or never heard of taking the sharp edges off a piston?
never heard of either really... that's good to know we shaved them when i first got the car... and for those who dont know what car it's going in, here ya go.... http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/73 Grabber/?start=all
hey dave just a heads up you will want to have your heads converted to adjustable valve train the trick flows with the pedestal mounts will blow out your valve guides in no time flat with cams over .500 lift i had a set that blew out two sets after switching cams before calling trickflow and finding out its worth the extra money to boot just my two cents:Handshake brad
nope, these are designed for the factory style pedistal mount rockers from the mid-80's up. these are trick flow's first series of heads and were designed for a direct bolt on over the stock 5.0 heads with a non-adjustable valve train
