i had a rear fire wall put into my car. it was done by bullet fabrications in santee, ca. willie rells, a famous prostock car builder is working there and did most of the work along with mike the owner/fabricator of bullet. they did a great job. heres some pics
i put holes in the brackets that bolt to the frame an 1" foward. that moved the bumper back. its very subtle but just gives it a little cleaner feel and look.
so ive just converted my car to stick shift with a t5 and a hydrolic clutch set up. heres the pedal/mastercylinder assembly i used and heres the t5 right after i rebuilt it. this is the thread on the whole installation. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=74695 there are lots of pics in it.
i just got my center stack on my dash back in after having it modified to clear the shifter from the t5 conversion. the empty hole is where the trans temp gage was for the auto trans. im going to get another fuel pressure gage. one is for the nitrous system and the other will be for the fuel injection system wich is my next project.
well my maverick has come to the end of its life. a volkswagon jetta decided to see what would happen if it hit the rear of my car at 40mph. the car is definitly wrecked. i will get another and build it with the parts of this one. so say good bye to my first maverick.
