    I just happen to have this, it was out behind my garage. I cut it out of a 75 Non-A/C Comet, so now I can have A/C and a fresh air vent.

    A little more cutting, and some grinding, and I should be able to tack this in, this weekend.
    I bought a air saw..this makes it a little too much fun!

    I'm going to sand blast the whole piece before, I weld it in..it's just surface rust, from sitting in my back yard for 8 years :)

    Looks like a GAZILLION little tack welds give or take a million :cry:

    Are they tack welds with beads filling in between them?

    It felt like it....there are bead welds between the tacks....I used some weld thru primer, it seemed to make it more difficult..
