I degreased with Greased Lighting and a garden hose then used a sand blaster then 2 coats Rust Bullet and then Dupli-Color bed liner.

spent countless hours removing the fender and underside junk, wouldnt be so bad had the previous body owner didn't fill every crevice with bondo as a rust preventive :16suspect
media blasting = useless (unless its thin coating)
wire wheel = works best but least fun :rofl2:
gasoline = pretty good at cutting (bring plenty of rags)

torch method (mentioned) = sounds best (y)

Just don't first use the gasoline and then decide to use the torch!!!!!!!!!!!:hide:

Hammer and chisel works well lmao That's what I used after the previous owner of the comet decided to slather bondo and some kinda concrete mixture all inside the damn trunk

might want to use a heat gun for the softening instead of torch lot safer, after you get the big stuff use acetone for the rest, can be bought at any hardware store in paint dept.

You'd be nuts to use gasoline.

I read in a thread on here to use a halogen light on the back side of the panel to soften it then scrape it. Haven't tried it yet but sounded reasonable.

It cleans windows and hands pretty well, just don't recommend smoking around it
