have a "Roush" motor and a ls motor. if i put my LS in my maverick it would run circles around the current "Roush" 347 in my maverick. Remember Roush builds GM motors too.
I think its fine to mix up the brands, Look at nascar. None of them are all ford or all chevy.... There generic race cars with stickers saying its one or the other....
