This has stayed completely on topic! It went from being about a "Bad *** LS Maverick" to being about a "Bad *** LS Maverick."

Besides, Saab engines suck, what's wrong with you?

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
have a "Roush" motor and a ls motor. if i put my LS in my maverick it would run circles around the current "Roush" 347 in my maverick. Remember Roush builds GM motors too. ;)

I think its fine to mix up the brands, Look at nascar. None of them are all ford or all chevy.... There generic race cars with stickers saying its one or the other....

Put it in a vega where it belongs. Leave our breed alone. That is no longer a Maverick. Go away. I no longer look at NASCAR as an example. No loyalty to anything. (Southern 500 on Labor Day) I bleed FORD blue. Leave your cross breeding to 32 Ford kit cars that I yawn at as I'm walking by at the local carshow. However I understantand that even sheep have the right to an opinion. A 34 Chevy with that engine; very cool. It would get my vote either at the strip or at a show.
