Welcome. Nothin to be jealous of on here. Your doing what hot rodding and car building is all about. Budgets differ, tastes differ but its all the same. Build it and have fun. Hell you've made more progress so far than some guys have in years. LOL.

Well to the k&n show. Never new there was one. The knotts show. I might be able to make that. Ive been going for years looking at the cars. I think its about time i enter one. Well id post more photos but still having problems.
Well heres a explanation on whats going since the last photo. Engine compartment is done and ready for my motor. I decided to grind the body down with my scotch brite padded 4 and 1/2 inch grinder. Figure i would use those so im not scrtchin the bajesus out of my cars skin. The pads are nice. they strip the paint very easy. I got the car down to bare metal and shot one coat of prime, just to seal it for now before i start body work in a couple weeks. So i bought the car for 750. Sold the motor and trans for 550. Now my buddy had 2 302ci. One was out of his truck, which is now 30 over. The other is a 91 roller motor std bore. Bothe motors have seen the machine blah blah. There done ready for assembly. I chose the standard bore motor. It has trw pistons. Bought all that for 150. Then i bought the f303 cam. Double link coys timing chain, torker intake manifold, 750 dbl pmp,new motor mounts, new fuel pump, hooker headers, and c9oe 351w heads. All that for the remander of the money from the motor and tranny i sold out of the car.so i sent the heads out. Doing some moderate port work to them right now. Want them to flow real good. I modified the aluminum stock valve covers you find on the 5.0...doing match port on intake and exaust. Match porting the intake. I sent my hooker comp headers out to sand blast got them back and repainted the flat high temp black. Still need to rebuild the carb hope fully if all goes well the motor should be done this weekend and on the test stand ready to be fired up monday. Il get video so you all can here and see. Im really curious to whay numbers it would have if a dynoed it. I pulled the 8 inch out. Sold it for 100. Got a 9 inch out of a granada, thanks to my dad, and it was a direct bolt in. Ive got a aod trans to go behind the beast. I ripped out the center section e brake system out of a 75 mustang. Cause i want a center e brake. Ive got high back bucket seats out of a 71 mustang. That need reapholster, lucky me i work at TMI Products. Just this weekend i bought a fiberglass grabber hood for 100. All thats left is the driveshaft to be shortend. A few ods and ends and we will be driving, drifting at adams kart track, and getting some 1/4 times. Oh i almost for got.....i wilk post pics. I am in the process of making a 13 inch front disc brake conversion kit. It use 05-09, mustang gt rotors and calipers, ive already made the bracket that uses the stock 5 lug drum spindal and hub..just waiting for the cnc at my work to be availble and ill be making brackets. Stay tuned more photos very soon.

so i got this idea from other guys who have atempted or have made, or are making. a 13 inch disc brake conversion. here are some photos of mach up on stock mustang, fairlane, 5 lug drum hub spindals. ill hope fully have the brackets cnc'd with in the next couple weeks. fully billet steel. its 05-09 mustang rotors and calipers. iwill be getting my hands on the cobra brembo brake calipers to make a bracket for those, enjoy. remember this is the rough draft, final details will be soon
