what oil should i use in my 302?

    Personally, I agree with Frank on this one. I use 10W-30 in everything.

    It is a good "all-around" viscocity.

    The only thing I "might" add is a qt of Lucas.

    Some of the fastest cars in the world use Lucas, so it can't be all bad.

    I run Lucas in my Maverick because I only start it once every month or three. I hope that the Lucas keeps some of the oil stuck in the upper part of the engine for that long so I am not doing any startups with no lube.

    I think they run more of the...sticker...than the product...:yup:
    look at some of the cars...if they ran all the stuff that is on the ...stickers...there wouldn't be any room left for...oil...:huh:

    My engine is pretty modified and I run brad penn 20w-50 plus a bottle of comp cams break in lube at every oil change I like the extra additives of the break in lube plus it helps with the high valve spring pressure on a flat tappet cam been that way for 3 years now and still has 75psi oil pressure at about 2500 hot
