Due to the fact that Texas is so big and everyone is so spread out, we've decided to have a mini-meet just north of the Dallas Ft. Worth area. This is in addition to the one in Katy, Texas in October.

Leave Saturday, May 26th, 2012 open for a mini-meet in conjunction with the 6th Annual All Ford Picnic sponsored by The Early Ford V8 Club of North Texas. It will be held at Sandy Lake Amusement Park in Carrollton Texas. The park is a great venue with a little lake, good food at modest prices, games for the kids and our own area to show the cars off.

Entry fee into the park is $2-3 per car and to enter your car for the show is $10.

    See their flyer below:

No only a pond. But, Lake Dallas and Lake Lewisville are only minutes away.

    Rick

PS I will be there. Bring your parts list, I need to sell.

Well, he IS from Arkansas! But I fell for it!!! Only about 40 miles for me now. I go to Mike's Hobby Shop for some RC racing, just down the road from the show, so I know where it is now. My daughter might not have a race car for that Saturday since it's a race day.

Yeah, we'll be there, with at least one car. Daughter thinks hers will be on the road by then. Keep on dreaming, sweetie :rofl2:

Looks like we might have as many as 8 Mavs show up. Anyone else? Neighboring states and pass-thru's welcome.

Im looking forward to this event. I'm even working on getting my cowl patched up. Its been years since I've had it in public without the magnetic strip covering it up.
