Do you have a page with information and pictures of your maverick? I'd like to see and read up on it.

Hey Bryant, what's up with your website? I get an error here at work saying it a "parked domain". Maybe just our websense web blocking...

i finally started on tearing down the maverick. mashori helped. it definitely stirred up some emotions against a volkswagen jetta and the girl driving it. i really got into pulling what i could out of the trunk and was impressed with the strength of the fuel cell. it didnt rupture or crack. it did tear through the front portion of the floor pan that it was pushed into.
heres the only pic i took today. mo took allot more and ill put them up as soon as i get them.

ok so here are the pics of the tear down

heres where the car has been sitting for months.

here its down and the hood is off
    [IMG]

here we got the front sheet metal off
    [IMG]

now we have the doors off
    [IMG]

then we took out the seats, carpet, kick panels and rear panels.

then we took as much out of the trunk. this was really difficult emotionally and physically. all the damage made it impossible to remove the fuel cell and also it really renewed the anger towards the person who wrecked my car. we didnt get any pics of the trunk today. ill get some on monday. it really shows the severity of the crash.

we then put the car back up and started taking things off the bottom.
we had to cut the tail pipes off of the mufflers to get the exhaust out. i pulled out the fuel pumps and filters. mo pulled the drive shaft and the t-5 trans.

heres a good pick of the rear valance. it was completely striped off the car during the accident.

we the got the motor ready to be pulled. we then found out that the engine hoist chains were missing. so that has to wait till monday. we will keep taking pics of the tear down as we go. then we will be tearing down the comet. then the real fun starts the build.
heres the fist thing i did to get the comrick project going

Nice progress! Glad to see you working on it again.:thumbs2:

I'm having some emotional motivation problems getting mine fixed as well. I let my brother drive it one day and some idiot in a van ran into the side of it, smashing the front section of my rust free quarter panel and destroying the passenger side door.
