I'm in. Where do we park? I will have to leave early, I have to work at the track for the dfwmustangs cruise at Texas Raceway. So, if anyone doesn't want to go home, we will be racing until about midnight.

The parking is wide open. Easy come and go access.

    See y'all there.

I'm going to bring the Comet that revived this obsession back in 1999. Ought to be relatively comfortable for the 210 miles up to Carrollton. (Not sure if I would drive all the way to Ohio again in it, though)! lol I had driven it a lot last month to the movie set and really enjoyed the car.

Duane, I intend to get there early enough so I can tentatively reserve a spot for us to all to park together.

Is this the same car you drove to the MCCI Roundup Nationals and the AC quit working and you called me to ask about a place to get it worked on?

Yes, it is. The A.C blew a leak in Little Rock and I got it fixed in Louisville on the way up north.

The high side schrader valve was leaking but the system held a good vacuum last weekend after I replaced it, so I filled it up with 134A. (y) We'll see! At least it isn't 105 degrees like it was in 2000 that day.

Well, I'm in Dallas, right around the corner from Sandy Lake. I was determined to beat the holiday weekend traffic! This way I can get there promptly in the morning, too.

    See everyone in the morning!

I must be getting old! :( I would have never turned down a free dinner 10 years ago!

Thanks for the invite, but I had a pretty rough week--I think I'l find something a little closer.

Are you going to be able to drop in tomorrow?

I am going to try for sure. I have two cakes ordered at Black Forest in Dallas. I am traveling down and up on 35 which you can see is right there. Sandy Lake Park is between Bush Tollway (190) and I35. I pass it quite often.. If I can get in and out easily I'll come in. Otherwise I can't leave the cakes too long. Especially since I will still have another hour and 15 to go..
Finally a get together in my area and it lands on an important day at home. My luck :(.
I can suggest eats in the area if you like :). Just tell me what you feel like eating  lol
