Tools needed to ALMOST remove exhaust Manifold

    Thanks guys
    I decided to replace the cylinder head while I'm at it. Never could get the broken bolts out in one piece. Also I had a broken valve cover bolt that caused a nasty leak. Took most of the day to remove the rocker shaft, it was stuck worst than the exhaust manifold. I should be up and running tomorrow or the next day.

    Wow....I have never seen that before. I agree with you, sounds like a new/different head is in order.

    I came close to hooking a chain from the engine hoist but got a thinking it might split the motor mounts in two or bend the rocker shaft.

    Mine has a leak but it's not bad so I'm gonna live with it. Scared it would go this way for me aswell.
