    Are there any plans on going to an on-line e-form based registration instead of the hardcopy forms/snail mail?

    If the registration form and the payment method were both instantaneous and electronic, I suspect there would be more memberships. I still haven't "gotten around" to completing mine... largely due to having to get a Money Order and mailing stuff, and so on.

    I sent Dan Starnes a PM last night to ask about a paypal payment button to add to this sticky. Similar to the way Stefan has the supporting memberships - just click the button and pay. And they have a drop down menu where you could select email shorthorns for $10 or postal mailed shorthorns for $20. This would work fine for renewals.

    As for the original membership application, I agree, having an online form to fill out would be nice. That is something the club needs to work on to make it as easy as possible to join.

    Right now - that is just the email address to use at paypal. I've asked Dan to look into creating a paypal payment button to post here.

    In the meantime - it is easy to pay your annual renewal dues with paypal:

    1- Log into your paypal account - you will see a SEND PAYMENT button on your main account page.
    2- Enter the email address from post #1 into the recipient box
    3- If you get your Shorthorns via email, enter $10 payment - if you get postal mail, enter $20
    4- select a payment type box ( I just use personal payment option) and send.

    Hope this helps - Hopefully Dan will post soon with more information.

    About 10% of the members use Paypal to pay for membership. And there is a comment box where you can add all your info. Very simple.
