These are the chassis engineering ones I installed on a friends mav. They fit well out of the box...Some trimming and tailored fitment can tuck em in tighter if you want.
Note on Chassis Engineering sf connectors. They will not work with the later model cars with pedal park brake. The Assy under the car is in the way. And while I am here. Mine are no longer in production.
i strongly recommend subframe connectors for street driven cars. every car ive had that ive put them on has had drastic improvements in many areas. the doors close better. the brakes respond faster, the turning response increases, the clutch response is better, going over speed bumps and dips feels better. then ive put cages in after sub frame connectors and thats like 5xs better than the subframe connectors. the stiffer you can make the body of the car the better the suspension is able to work and control it.
I have a 77 car and yes, the e brake assembly is in the way. Is there a suggestion on how to move this assembly or is there a unit from another car that I can use? I would like to use the Chassis Engineering connectors, but maybe there is another connector from a different manufacture that is better suited for the 77 model car. Open for suggestions. Thanks John
Wasn't Joedirt making some? I would be interested in a picture showing how far below the rockers the Chassis Engineering connectors hang. They look like the would swallow up some of the ground clearance.
Does anybody know if Joedirt is still making his brand of connectors? I sent him a PM a couple of days ago, but have not received a reply.
dont forget about his monte carlo bar wish his SFC would come out though ..hes been quiet, or atleast I havent noticed any posts

Sorry to bring this tread from the dead, but I figured the info can be kept in the same place... So, besides home built, those are our only options for purchase? ( the Chassis Engineering or the Total Control/Alston chassis works?) Any pictures of these how the attach to the rear frame? From the Fox body gurus, like Maximum Motorsports, the SFCs should be the entire length of the front subframe.. or at least the most you can over lap the better.. Does anyone make thru the floor SFCs for our cars?
