Howard, the car looks awesome! That 4.6 looks right at home under the grabber hood, very sanitary work. Hope you enjoy driving it as much as I like looking at it
Another great build, love the color, the stance and how clean the engine bay is without all the wiring out in the open. Need some interior shots but am willing to bet it is just as clean. A great way to stay all Ford 2 thumbs up
That car is a work of art....WORK I am sure needs emphasis....ART too!!! Beautiful. I hope you feed it more than alphabet soup though. Heheheheh.
Great build~! I would not have figured the Mod motor would go in between those towers? I assume towers were modified to some degree, but, didn't think it would work w/ any tower remaining. How do you like the AJE suspension?
Glad to see you sorted and starting to enjoy the fruits of all that hard work and investment. What size compressor and how many psi?
F1A Procharger and 18 psi when I can get the belt to stop slipping . Believe it or not it only holds boost in low gear and starts dropping off the rest of the run. Usually ends up around 12 psi Was considering a cog but not sure it's worth it at this point .Kind of meet my goal for now
I'm debating this setup as well... bought a crashed Bullit with a cobra engine swap, just got my '70 maverick home. With the modified shock towers in place can you fit headers to that 4.6l? I wanted to improve breathing on this engine it sucks with the standard cobra intake and stock exhaust manifold. Don't like blowers so that's not an option. I'm still not sure if I really want to do this and am considering selling the Bullit and keeping the Maverick original as it is mostly untouched...
