Anyone have any input on the Scarebird setup. I searched the forums here, gave Scarebird a call (Mark) and he says that they now have a bracket setup that lets Mavericks use a rotor from 70-73 Mustang (I'm guessing that a 4 or 5 lug rotor is available ). You still have to use the El dorado front brake lines and the Chevy calipers and pads.....all this and only have to pay $105 for the brackets. Mark says that the new design does away with the old drum flange sytem as stated in an earlier thread. Just looking for some input....price sounds right though! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1964... 7056899QQrdZ1 www.scarebird.com
The mustang discs were not very good. The 75-80 Maverick/Comet/Granada/Monarch discs are much better. Spend a few dollars and do it right and you will be much happier.
we are doing a group a purchase on a granada swap at a mustang forum. Everything that you need is included for $470 plus shipping. we are buying them from www.discbrakeswap.com heres the thread that you should post in if you are interested. http://www.mustangforums.com/m_1053227/tm.htm
