The truck one looks just like that one. I removed the mounting bracket from the box becuase of lack of space. I also used the spacer from the maverick switch that has the right curve to match the dash and all its mounting hardware.

Great, thanks Thomas. I guess I have a couple options on where to get one now. Where did you mount the box? Towards the side of the dash behind the heater controls? Thanks.

Yea, mine was! Both in the '69.5 and '72, the switch just fit right in and everything worked great. Will be interesting to see what the difference is.

I thought you could only get interval wipers in the 76/77 Mavericks by ordering the Convenience Group? Were they available seperate? My 76 Pinto wagon had the factory interval wipers. I still miss that car!!

If you can't find them there

Check out AMC...You know Pacers Gremlins Jeeps Especially waggoneers and Cherokees. They used the Ford delay control module and switch and just put an AMC sticker over the Ford script. The knob is also different but a ford knob fits right in the switch also they are good for many years from the 70's and 80's.

this is what the unit looks like

here is an article on the ford truck forum (granted it is in a truck but you get the gist of it)
    http://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...ll_interval_wipers_on_a_7379_Ford_pickup.html

And one on the jeep forum (don't worry about the 3 wire or the 4 wire motor it does not affect us) that gives out some good info

Have a couple of Falcons, wich is close to a Maverick/Comet.
Don't forget the 2 speed wiper motor, late model mid 80's to early 90's f series and bronco will work. You can get the delay box and wiring harness, the plug will be red if it is equipped with a delay box. Some of the switches if you push them in a small amount it will activate the windshield squirters, so you can even adapt them to work with your mav/comet. I tried testing my motor before I installed it and it wouldn't work. I found out the motor body was a ground along with the ground wire in the harness. So look out for that.
