I was wondering if 67 / 68 mustang X brace subframe connector would bolt on to my 72 maverick? They use them on the eleanor clones. I dont want to cut the floor to put in subframe connectors.I have a 6 point roll cage but I was wondering if I needed subframe connectors and if I could use ones made for a 67 / 68 mustang? I want to drift a maverick and the drift guys told me I had to stiffen up my car.

i dont think they will work. i had these custom made for my car. they are tied in to the cage and are tied into the subframes at mutiple points. for drifting you want the chassie to be as stiff as possible. this helps the car be preditable.

Through the floor would stiffen it up even more cuz youre welding them to the floor and the subframe

Subframes are just a start of what you need to do to stiffen these things up. I'd tend to liken them to cardboard boxes ;)

Open your userCP, look at the bottom of the menubar on the left. You should see "attachments", click on that, find the pic you want to repost, right-click on it's name and select "copy shortcut" (It helps to have two browsers open). In your current post, click the "insert image" icon. When the URL box pops up, paste the shortcut you just copied. That should do it.

How much did you get charged for this? I am thinking of having a set made for my car so I want to get an idea of how much it would cost.
